Welcome to Tropicool Studio

My name is Ceri [ Keh - Ri ]
Inspired by coastal and equatorial cultures, tropical flora and fruits, and the simple treasures in life.  
Living and working remotely, I base myself around the world chasing swells and a sun tan. 
I aim to mood boost and inspire with my tropical, and sunshine-infused artwork. Dedicated to the feeling of slow living, island escapism, and the "good ol days".

Get to know me

  • As a passionate surfer and traveler, I move every few months, finding new (or previously visited) sunny beach towns to call home. I’ve been traveling for almost 10 years, and spent a lot of time in Mexico, Sri Lanka, Australia, California, and Europe.

  • I was born and raised in Scotland and then Canada, but don’t feel a sense of home in either, so have been living in different coastal towns around the world for the last 10 years.

  • My favourite projects are ones that I receive creative freedom to fully express my unique artistic voice. I thrive in providing nostalgism through my warm colors, worn in textures, and tropic atmosphere. Projects ranging from book illustration, merchandise designs, and a funky label for your beer bottle are some of my favourite.

  • My travels naturally paint the landscape of my inspiration. By constantly living in different places around the world, I’m constantly absorbing the tropic surroundings, surf culture, and natural colours that surround me. I’m also extremely inspired by mysticism, abstract paintings, pottery, polynesian culture, Mexican art, African art, and the natural world of wildlife. My inspiration evolves as I grow, and continue to travel with the world.
