Why I chose LAMA Fine Art Print on Demand to print and produce my artwork

I am absolutely obsessed with world cultural music from cumbia, guajira, afrobeat, desert blues, and samba. The rhythm and sounds transport me and infuse my work with a tropic, earthy, and cultural edge.

Mexi Log Fest - one of the biggest longboard surfing festival’s in the world, opened up the opportunity for artists around the world to submit an entry to be chosen for this year’s contest artwork. The competition was heavy, with lots of amazing entries and lots by friends I have met along my travels. I was beyond excited to be selected for the top 5 which they then made it a public vote, and I was over the moon to be selected as the winner!

I had the pleasure of creating a boundless amount of art for the beautiful Olo Surf and Nature. Situated among the African cliffs and dunes, overlooking a lengthy, rolling, wave filled paradise. One of the first questions Hamid, owner of Olo, asked me was, “So Ceri, when are you the most inspired?”

Beyond grateful to have spent my birthday at the most exciting, authentic and rowdy surf festivals on the map. Filled with the most comprehensive group of international creatives and sliders. I had the opportunity to spend the week painting and surfing, banging my head to a rock band or two, copping knees and elbows in the middle of the mosh pit, twisting and shouting to beach disco parties, sipping one too many espressos, creating lifelong goofy friendships, while gently nursing last night’s headache with a freshly cracked bubbly cerveja.
