Artist Residency: Olo Surf and Nature, Morocco

IMG_5613.JPG

I had the pleasure of creating a boundless amount of art for the beautiful Olo Surf and Nature. Situated among the African cliffs and dunes, overlooking a lengthy, rolling, wave filled paradise. One of the first questions Hamid, owner of Olo, asked me was, “So Ceri, when are you the most inspired?” As cliche but truthful the answer is, I source most of my artistic rhythms, during or post-surf. So lucky for me, I had to fulfill my duty of surfing everyday to ensure I was in the highest state of creativity, also lucky for me, this wave was the best wave I’ve ever surfed. After two months of painting, creating and sliding, I am excited to be a part of the Olo Family of Artists and Surfers.
